Jean Beck Here are some things you might like to know about me: In November of 2000 I joined Prudential California Realty after a 13-year position as Director of Operations with a local consulting company. Hair-designer & Travel Consulting are former careers. At age 19 I purchased a home and by 22 acquired land for investment, four years later I borrowed equity from my home and purchased a duplex downtown San Diego. A few years later I traded up to a 4-plex and now after a series of 1031 exchange transactions I have moved my tax deferred monies into individual residential rental properties in the North County San Diego coastal area. As an experienced investor I am convinced that residential properties for retirement income are perfect for the individual investor. My former trades and training have created the ideal transition into Real Estate. With practical business experience and people skills my former occupations have been excellent preparation for my Real Estate Career. In 2001 I received the “Rookie of the Year” award with Top Number Transactions. In 2002 I became a member of the Presidents Circle with 7 Million in sales. In 2003 I earned Chairman’s Circle with 12 million in sales. With my 4th year (2004) behind me, 41 transactions and 18 million in sales, my ranking is in the top 3% of Prudential’s network of agents nationwide. I live in Pauma Valley with my husband who is retired from Northrup Corporation and is now an avocado and citrus farmer. We live in the Pauma Valley Country Club.
